Does The Lion Bar & Club have a dress code?
Yes.  We operate a smart casual dress code.  On Saturday nights no caps/hats are permitted.  We also have recently implemented new rules with regards to high heeled shoes which are no longer acceptable (excluding Members and over 25's).  If you have any quarms regarding the dress code please do not hesitate to contact us prior to your visit.  Dress to impress!

Can anyone go to The Lion Bar & Club?
The Lion Bar & Club is not an exclusive Members Only venue but we do operate a strict "members priority" scheme and a majority gay policy.  Each night we will allocate a number of "Guest" admissions in ratio to our gay members, subject to Management discretion, therefore if you are planning to visit us in a large group please contact Zac (General Manager) prior to your visit to make sure we can accommodate you and your party. We also operate and support responsible drinking.  Anybody who is believed to be overly intoxicated will not be allowed entry.

What I.D do you accept?
Our Management and S.I.A Registered Security Team will only accept the following forms of photo I.D: Passport Driving License (Full or Provisional)Photo I.D containing PASS logo and hologram.  Visit the PASS website for more details http://www.pass-scheme.org.uk/
We are very strict regarding our rules on I.D and any form of I.D believed to be illigimate or not belonging to the presenter will be seized and given to the Police.

How do I find The Lion Bar & Club?
We are situated on Birchills Street in Walsall.  For sat-nav's our postcode is WS2 8NG.  You can also find a map on the "Find Us" page. We are also only a short walk from Walsall Town Centre and a stones throw from The Wharf Retail Park.

Do you have a cash machine?  Can I pay by card?
We do not have a cash machine, however we do offer a cash back facility up to a maximum of £50 cash back per transaction.  You can also pay for entry and drinks using your card.  All transactions are subject to a £1.25 charge.

Do you have a smoking and garden area?
The Lion Bar & Club boasts the largest natural beer garden in the West Midlands.  We have a large covered, heated smoking area and plenty of outdoor seating including our luxury hammocks.  In the summer months we also have a large 22,000 litre swimming pool.

Are you able to accommodate guests who require wheelchair access?
We aim to make our venue accessible and user-friendly for all of our members and guests, therefore we will make every effort to help you into the venue should you need to use a wheelchair.  There are some small steps within the venue however there is also a sloped exit into the garden area which can be used.  Our friendly and professional Door Team will be more than happy to assist you should you require help.

Do you have a cloakroom facility?
Yes.  We are able to store coats (£1 per item) and bags (£1.50 per item).  We will issue you with a cloakroom ticket and you will need to present this back to our Reception Team to retrieve your item(s) however in the case of a lost ticket we will always endeavour to try and identify your item for you, however it may mean that you need to return at the end of the night.
